Making Flemish Lid Papers-3

 


 

The border papers are then added to the perimeter of the interior papers. Next the red and black lines are painted along the edges, and the mottos are marked out. The lettering is first drawn out on paper so the positioning is correct, and then drawn and painted.

No Latin spell checker here, so you have to make sure they are right.

 
 

 


 

The final arabesques are added to the corners. No two are alike.
